I might be taking this too seriously, but wouldn't the Supreme Court allowing state bans on trans women in women's sports not be the same thing as imposing a national ban? Because a state could choose not to ban it, right?
From what I understand after looking into it more, the lower courts are saying that states can't ban it and the Supreme Court will say they can, similar to abortion, which means the states that haven't enforced bans (of which there are many) will likely be pressured to do so given public opinion. I'm pretty sure this is at all levels, not just high school and up.
